Welcome to Sunday Spotlight, where each week you are introduced to a new blogger! Today you’re in for a treat! Tara from Suburble has stopped by – she totally rocks my socks. ;)
Tell us a little about yourself. Spouse? Kids? Furbabies? Occupation/Hobbies? Spill it
I spend most of my time playing with the kids, tidying up messes, and creating things. I’d say that I’m a Jill of many trades, and a master of few. I think that it makes life more interesting. We’re always getting into hijinx.
Suburble is a place where I share our life in the ‘burbs. I write about parenting, crafting, cooking, decorating, gardening, and failing at all of these things. It happens. I like to be honest about the trials and errors of home-making. It’s how life is!
Above all, I love to write. It’s the telling of stories that I want – no, need – to do. I’m chatty in real life. Without being able to write, I’d probably be unbearble!
Some common themes in my posts are spray paint (I lurrve it!), crafting with kids – mostly because they won’t leave me alone, so I just get them involved! – and sarcasm. Sarcasm is a very important ingredient in crafting. It makes the process so much better.
Suburble was an idea that rolled around in my brain for months. The trouble is, I was gun-shy. It wasn’t until my girlfriend started a blog that I realized that I needed to be brave and start putting my words and my ideas out there. And since then, it’s been incredible.
How can we connect with you?
Thanks so much Tara!
I hope you’ll stop by and say hello to Tara and visit her blog Suburble! Tell her Kirsten sent ya!
